Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan desain sensorik dalam Chapel of Music karya Vector Architects, dengan fokus pada elemen suara, cahaya, tekstur, dan skala. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini menganalisis bagaimana elemen-elemen sensorik berperan dalam menciptakan pengalaman ruang yang mendalam bagi pengunjung. Data diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan publikasi arsitektural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain Chapel of Music mengintegrasikan elemen sensorik secara efektif, terutama melalui pengaturan akustik dan pencahayaan, yang menciptakan suasana spiritual dan musikal. Interaksi antara material, bentuk ruang, dan pencahayaan memperkaya pengalaman multisensori dan meningkatkan keterhubungan emosional pengunjung dengan ruang. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya desain yang mempertimbangkan faktor sensorik untuk memperkaya pengalaman arsitektural.
